In the realm of indie music, it’s no secret that some artists have a knack for standing out, and Lani Mays is no exception. A multi-talented creator in the truest sense, Lani Mays is not just an independent recording artist; he is also a skilled photographer and a seasoned videographer. His dynamic range of talents and his unwavering dedication to his craft make him a force to be reckoned with in the industry.
“The journey of an artist is a never-ending exploration,” Lani shared during our conversation. His journey is a testament to this sentiment, starting as a recording artist and then branching out into photography and videography, showcasing an impressive versatility.
Lani’s music career began with strong influences from industry titans like T.I., T-Pain, and Plies. However, he has since carved out a distinctive sound that resonates deeply with his audience. Looking forward, Lani Mays has exciting projects on the horizon. He is currently working on two EPs, one a collection of unreleased songs and the other a re-release. Additionally, he is set to drop a new single titled ‘STG’ on May 23, produced in collaboration with DST Beats from Italy.
