Yerm and I delved into his innovative project, a content creator channel. “I had the ambition to create music to put on the channel,” Yerm told me, his eyes lighting up with the enthusiasm of a man on a mission. “I knew that it led to getting exposure on our own platform.”

In our conversation, Yerm didn’t shy away from discussing the realities of the music industry. He spoke candidly about the paradigm shift in the industry, with artists now opting for distribution deals rather than traditional record label contracts. “Signing to artists assigned to an artist, that could be a messy business,” Yerm warned.

Yet, despite the challenges, Yerm remains undeterred. He emphasized the importance of establishing oneself in their own city. “You have to establish yourself in your own city,” he insisted, pointing out that live performances and tours remain a significant source of income for artists.

Looking ahead, Yerm is focused on expanding his reach. “The main thing is that I have to be proactive in making music,” he shared. His vision for the future includes more music, more exposure, and the continuous growth of his content creator channel.
